Consultants



Ahmed El Nashar


Mr. El-Nashar has been working extensively in the field of Business Development, Logistics Management and Consultancy across various industries with a number of regional and multinational organizations.Mr. El-Nashar started as the Import Sales Manager at Maersk Sealand, Egypt. During his tenure, he established both the Import Sales Department of the company as well as the Global Accounts Department.

Additionally, he was a member of the Maersk Africa Team, where he was responsible for setting up the internal procedures for the company's import documentation processes and procedures in Africa. He, then, moved to work with Qatar Central Bank in the Banking Control Department, where he evaluated and revised the country's regulatory laws and regulations for banks and financial institutions in accordance with standards set by the IMF and the Basel Committee and engaged with a multinational consultancy firm in the restructuring of the banking control department. Then, he worked as a freelance consultant in strategy and commercial management, where he engaged with Malaysian International Shipping Company (MISC).

He supervised the establishment of the commercial headquarters of the company in Cairo, this involved implementing new commercial strategies, creating an improved organizational structure that resulted in the establishment of defined commercial business units and departments, and developing the technical and managerial capacity of employees at various levels in the organization. His experience as a Business Development Manager in Raya Distribution gave him further exposure in the Middle East market and he was able to secure two of the company's biggest regional agency with Imate and Canon for Egypt and North Africa.

He also led the team that established the organizational and strategic setup for both agencies. Following that, he took over the role of the Business Development Manager and later the Country Liner Logistics Manager in the Norwegian Multinational Wilhelmsen Ship Services, where his work involved leading and managing the liner logistics operations in Egypt, securing new commercial opportunities in international logistics, conducting supply chain consultancy assignments to regional and multinational clients, and participating in establishing regional commercial strategies for the company. This provided him with an exposure to multi-cultural work forces covering various geographical areas and industry sectors including the Automobile, Military, Petrochemical, and FMCG sectors. During his tenure with SKOPOS, he engaged in several OD projects across the Middle East. This included providing coaching services to senior executives, designing and implementing cultural transformation programs at an organization and department level, setting up and building the capacity of HR and OD departments, and facilitating teambuilding and conflict resolution sessions.

Mr. El Nashar holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from the American University in Cairo. Post Graduate studies include a Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from Lloyds Maritime Academy and a Post Graduate Certificate in Management from Edinburgh Business School.

Amr Yehia
Mr. Amr Yehia is a Management Consultant at SKOPOS Consulting. His Master's Degree in consulting and coaching for change from HEC and Oxford University, in addition to his leadership capabilities resulted in a profound experience, which is an added value transferring this knowledge to the client.

Mr. Yehia holds a B.Sc. in engineering from Cairo University. He has served around 19 years in the area of Organization Development (OD) consulting and IT as a System analyst around the Arab region. Mr. Yehia has also led and participated in numerous OD consulting and management training projects in his capacity as consultant in SKOPOS Consulting. He is regarded as an accomplished designer, contributor and initiator of numerous OD interventions and training programs offered by SKOPOS Consulting. Mr. Yehia's areas of expertise in OD include change management, leadership development, needs assessment, designing integrated OD and change programs, performance management, organization culture development, executive coaching and strategic HR.
Ahmed Hammad


Mr. Ahmed Mohamed Hammad is a Management Consultant at SKOPOS Consulting since 2008. With SKOPOS Consulting he worked on several projects inside and outside Egypt including facts findings phases, OD resident consultant for several operators in the Middle East and Africa, in addition to conducting organization assessment.

Mr. Hammad has been working in high-tech multinational industries since 1999, where he was able to deepen his knowledge and experience.

Mr. Hammad started his business life working for Mentor Graphics as a Simulation Analysis Specialist, where he worked as an electronics designer and a consultant for the quality assurance and development teams. After, he was working for Electronic Data System (EDS) as a Metrics and Estimation SME Leader, where he implemented an Organizational Metrics Program. He also provided training and coaching for project managers to implement best practices aligned with the industry quality standards. Subsequently, he was working for HSBC Egypt as a Process Intelligence Officer and Six Sigma Specialist, where he was leading a Lean Six-Sigma project to improve HSBC back office operations to be ready for handling the bank’s very aggressive expansion plan. As a Senior Business Consultant in LOGIC Management Consulting, Mr. Hammad developed different suppliers of Unilever as part of a major Lean project for almost 6 months and he also designed processes and procedures for the Egyptian government. All in all, Mr. Hammad’s work with Logic Management Consulting, HSBC, EDS and Mentor Graphics has given him an outstanding experience in the field of Electronics, IT, Banking, and Business and operation Consultancy.

Mr. Hammad holds a Science Bachelor Degree in Communication Engineering, VLSI Diploma from ITI and an MBA degree from the American University in Cairo with double major in Islamic Banking and Operation. He also holds a Lean Six Sigma – Black Belt certification from the American University and Quality America

Arfan Qureshi


Mr. Arfan Qureshi is primarily working within the regions of the Middle East and Africa. His most recent work has included projects in Kuwait, Bahrain, Egypt, Nigeria, as well as Iraq. He has previously worked for Sun Microsystems in Menlo Park, California.

During his graduate study at Michigan State University, Mr. Qureshi helped the Group Dynamics Laboratory, which focused on research in the areas of group performance, group decision-making, and group cooperation. He also taught a number of courses within psychology, research methods, as well as data analysis.Mr. Qureshi has a Master’s Degree from a joint program between Oxford University’s SAID Business School and HEC Paris’s School of Business focusing on Change Management consulting and coaching.

He also has a Master's degree from Michigan State University in Social and Personality Psychology. He received his Undergraduate Degree from the University of Miami with a double major in Psychology and Computer Science, as well as a minor in Mathematics.

Ashraf Hafez


Mr. Ashraf Hafez is best described as being a catalyst for positive change: Competence + Independence = Perfection.Mr. Hafez’s professional experience includes 19 years of business management and R&D experience in both industry and academia. Previous employers include multinationals e.g. Intel, Nortel and Alstom.

Previous employment includes positions in Information Technology , Telecommunications, Strategic Initiatives, Department management and Decision Support, Business Development, System/Maintenance Engineering, Embedded System Design, Hardware/Software Co-design/Co-simulation and Corporate Training & Consultancy. His formal education includes a Masters in International Business Administration, Masters in Computer Science and Bachelors in Electronic and Communications Engineering.

Mr. Hafez’s corporate consultancy and training tenure spans a period of 7 years. Experience dates back to 1996, when he was working as a Research and Teaching Assistant in the Computer Science Department in the University of Victoria (UVIC), B.C. Canada. Ben Peterson


Mr. Ben Peterson has over 20 years of professional experience, which includes successful leadership of diverse change management programs across 9 European markets in the financial services sector.

Mr. Peterson previously served as an accomplished business-focused program manager with extensive leadership experience on a broad range of complex, transformational programs throughout Europe. His track record includes strong stakeholder management relationships involving senior business executives, B2B partners, specialist suppliers and multiple functional stakeholders. Mr. Peterson is a Chartered Engineer by background with versatile commercial, business strategy and implementation management skills developed in industry.

Mr. Peterson’s past experience includes 7 years with American Express, where he served in a range of roles including business planning and strategic development, and management of globally dispersed teams to launch financial products in key European markets. He played a leadership role in some of the most ambitious programs embarked on by American Express. Examples include a joint venture business with CartaSi in Italy and other partnerships with B2B partners across Europe including: KLM-Air France, ABN AMRO, BMW, British Medical Association, Society-Generale and Harrods. Mr. Peterson possesses specialist knowledge in business process design and re-engineering, which has enabled him to deliver on numerous occasions, flawless alignment between new product launches and optimal business processes. Prior to American Express,

Mr. Peterson had an 8-year career in Engineering Consulting with Waterman Partnership and Mott MacDonald Consulting Group both in the UK. He worked on numerous major engineering projects overseas and in the UK, including the Channel Tunnel Rail Link. His latest position prior to joining SKOPOS Consulting was as Director of a start-up consulting company, KP Peters Limited advising and implementing change management programs for the National Health Service, UKMr. Peterson holds an MBA with focus in finance, strategy and operations management from London Business School. He also has an MSc in Environmental Engineering from Leeds University in the UK and BSc (Hons) in civil engineering, from the university of Science & Technology, Kumasi, Ghana.

Diana Seyouri


Ms. Diana Seyouri has been working in Organizational Development and Organizational Culture Transformation since June of 2006. She comes from a strategic marketing background where she has worked, consulted and taught for over fifteen years. She has been living in the Middle East and the Gulf since 1995, during which she worked as a Marketing Manager and General Manager of Technology Services firms. She was teaching part-time at the American University of Beirut (AUB), while working full time in the private sector.

She also worked with the UNDP as a consultant on projects relating to Technology and Internet Marketing. Her work has been published in Magazines such as Executive, and Society Magazine and her name has been mentioned in The General Manager and Al-Nahar on subjects relating to business and technology. In September 1999 to May 2001, she held a full time faculty position in the School of Business and Management at the American University of Sharjah.

After returning to work in the private sector, she worked with 121strategies-Dubai and later started her own strategic marketing consulting firm in June 2003. She remained a consultant with Xact Marketing until June 2006 when she joined the Skopos Family as a full time and permanent member. Ms. Diana holds a Bachelors degree in Marketing from Bentley College, USA (1991) and a Masters degree in International Business from Boston University, USA (1995).

Galal Haikal


Mr. Galal Haikal has a deep experience in Project Management in IT industry with extensive practice in the field of Software Development and Business Applications in two major multinational IT companies.

He also acquired a strong management, communication skills and profound experience in dealing with different cultures through working with teams allocated in five different continents. Mr. Haikal has worked as a Software Engineer at IBM Corporation, where he was a member in the team responsible for the analysis, design, development and the implementation of the migration tools across different versions of WBI-Monitor in WebSphere Laboratory in IBM Egypt.

Afterwards, Mr. Haikal worked as an Information Analyst then Project Manager in EDS Corporation, an HP company, where he managed a team of developers (inside & outside the region), worked as a liaison between different teams across the world and managed shift patterns and work allocation for the development and support of the software system implemented in all General Motors' plants worldwide replacing the old legacy systems. Mr. Haikal also participated in the CMMI assessment of EDS Corporation as an assessment team member.Mr. Haikal holds a Bachelor Degree of Dentistry from Cairo University, a Software Engineering postgraduate diploma and a MBA from the American University in Cairo with concentration on marketing.

Dr. Hassan Farahat


Dr. Hassan Farahat, a Management Consultant, started his academic career as a demonstrator till becoming an Assistant Professor of Management in Al-Azhar University. During his long journey in the university, Dr. Farahat lectured a number of management-related topics such as Marketing and Marketing Research, Human Resources Management, Strategy and Strategic Planning, Managerial Economics, Management Information Systems & Research Methodology, for both under-graduate and post-graduate students.

Dr. Farahat enjoys a vast and deep experience in the training and consultancy field for more than 30 years. His experience includes working as an expert and/or principal expert and consultant for most training centers in Egypt where he prepared and presented a lot of training materials and courses. He also worked as the Scientific Consultant for a great number of management consultancy centers in Egypt, where he supervised a number of teams that carried out a number of consultancy projects for a number of prestigious organizations such as the Arab League Economic council, the general oil authority in Egypt, the National Assembly of Kuwait, and the Social Development Office in Kuwait. He was also a member of the research team to develop and improve the government performance in Egypt (1986-1989).Dr. Farahat worked also as the Management Consultant for International Turnkey Systems (ITS) in Kuwait.

In addition to conducting and supervising a lot of management consultation and training courses, Dr. Farahat published some academic books in Arabic in the fields of Management, Marketing, Management Information Systems and Strategic Management.Dr. Farahat received his Ph.D. in Management from Al-Azhar University in Cairo. His Ph.D. dissertation was on Policies of Technology Transfer and Purchasing. He also received his Masters Degree from the same university in Designing and Managing Management Information Systems.

Hassan Sherif


Hatem Sallam


Mr. Hatem Sallam pursued a technical path in Software development, first as a developer, designer, and then Architect in different fields using various technologies, including CAD tools, Business process reengineering in Mentor Graphics, Holosofx and IBM.

Then he switched to the practice of Project Management for both, products as well as services, in many firms such as IBM, ITWorx, and Microsoft. Joining SKOPOS Consulting, he learned a lot about OD consultant practice. He also had different internal positions, such as Account management and running the Project Management Office. During this journey, he was responsible for delivering and contributing to products and projects that were applied in Education, Government, Media, Telco, and Healthcare. Me. Sallam also assumed people management roles for teams of 50+ people cross cultural and sometimes even virtually working together. He had the chance to practice vendor management, client relationship management, Business development, and assuring quality.

The projects he was part of were developed and delivered in many countries including USA, Egypt, KSA, UAE, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Japan, India and China). He also coached peers, subordinates and lately executives in large scale organizations, in parallel to this path he was teaching at the university of Ain Shams and Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport.Mr. Sallam holds a Bachelor Degree in Computer Engineering from Ain Shams University. He also has a mathematical Diploma in Computer Science. Additionally, he has business certificates in foundations like marketing, accounting in and strategic management.

Julia Akinfieva


Ms. Julia Vladimir Akinfieva is a Management Consultant, where she has been intensively working with a team of consultants on change management programs, organizational culture change and leadership development interventions, and knowledge management across different countries in Africa and Middle East.

She also designed internal development programs for consultants. She is trained in organizational behavior, industrial psychology, organization development, knowledge management and business case writing.

Ms. Akinfieva has been living in Egypt since 1989, where she has worked and received her education. Ms. Akinfieva worked as a Research Assistant in the Psychology Department at the American University in Cairo for three years, after, she worked as a Sales Agent in Coldwell Banker Real Estate, where she was responsible for contracting negotiating and closure stages of real estate deals as well as business development. Subsequently, she moved to the position of Deputy Commercial Director at Luxor Air where she was contracting and arranging VIP clients’ flights, was also responsible for business development, public relations, planning and contracting, broker and customer relations, policy formulation as well as internal development of the operations team.

Ms. Akinfieva holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree (B.A.) in Psychology with minor concentration in Cultural Anthropology from the American University in Cairo; Master in Business Administration (MBA) with concentration on Leadership and Strategic Human Resource Management (expected to graduate 2011)FROM THE AMERICAN UNIVERISTY IN CAIRO.

Liana Salaymeh


Ms. Liana Salaymeh is a Management Consultant, where she works with organizations to help them address complex business issues and develop strategies for successful execution.

She is skilled at helping companies to implement change and focus on long-term business results by assessing culture and retention issues and partnering with leaders to help align employee behavior with the overall business strategy. She helps organizations enhance organizational cultures that build their brand as employers of choice. She also has experience in designing and delivering Leadership Development Programs and coaching managers to change behavior to successfully implement business results.

Ms Salaymeh has also worked with management teams to build team alignment and enhance team effectiveness. She has experience working in the United States, Middle East, and Africa. Ms. Salaymeh has worked with clients in industries such as High Tech., Healthcare, Biotech, Retail, and Telecommunications.Ms. Salaymeh holds a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and Sociology from the University of California and an MBA from London Business School.

Moctar Diouf


Mr. Moctar Bouna Diouf is a Management Consultant, where he is currently working with organizations to help them coordinate and address issues related to the alignment of internal resources and strategies to achieve business targets.

Furthermore he assists clients in developing and implementing solutions in order to tackle management issues during periods of change and beyond.During his professional career, he developed a solid experience in Management Based Results as well as in Capacity Development in economic and social development contexts.

Mr. Diouf came to Skopos after five years of experience within the United Nations system (including UNDP, UNECA, UNDPI, OHCHR, WFP) as well as in Corporate Social Responsibility. He is fluent in French, English and Italian. Mr. Diouf holds a Bachelor in Political Science from the Universty of Montreal (Canada), a Certificate in International Business from HEC as well as a Master in Development and International Cooperation (spec. Project Management) from the University of Bologna (Italy).

Mohamed Beheiry


Mr. Mohamed A. Beheiry is primarily working as a Personal Coach for the Senior Executives of a major Telecommunications company in the Middle East, helping develop their Strategic Management approach as they grow rapidly.

Mr. Beheiry worked for Mobil Corporation and NCR Corporation in Egypt, Cocean-Muzaini in Kuwait, Exxon International in Saudi Arabia and Continental Illinois National Bank in Chicago before becoming the Vice President and Managing Director of Crosby France.

Afterwards, he joined Crosby Associates Canada as a Senior Vice President, after which he became the President, where he managed the start-up of the Canadian subsidiary and Business Development in a new market. Subsequently, he became the Senior Vice President, then the Dean of the Quality College for Philip Crosby Associates, Inc., where he was responsible for the selection, training and certification of consultants worldwide, as well as the development and qualification of all consulting services materials for the world market.

Mr. Beheiry trained over 200 Senior Executives in Quality Management and Strategic Planning in Enterprise Quality Management as their Principal and resident. After, he joined BIPerformance Services as a Senior Consultant, and then he took the position of Director of Quality Management in the Longaberger Company. Following, as a Senior Partner he joined Phoenix Consulting Associates, where he developed additional consulting business with Quaker Oats, Parker-Hannifin, Bunge Corporation and Wyandot Foods.Mr. Beheiry holds a Science Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cairo University. In addition, he holds a MBA in International Business from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois.

Mostafa Omran


Mr. Mostafa Omran joined SKOPOS Consulting in mid-2009, two years after his return to the region from North America.Prior to the start of his journey in SKOPOS Consulting, he was working in sales as an assistant manager for the leading mobile phone accessories distributor in Egypt.

Mr. Omran grew up in Vancouver, Canada where his passion for the social sciences led him to finish his BA in History, while minored in Sociology. He followed up his undergraduate studies, with a graduate degree in Business Administration from Simon Fraser University.

Marwa Farouq


Mrs. Marwa Farouq Al-Hefnawi, a Management Consultant, has a management and HR consulting experience serving diverse clients in different industries including Telecommunications, Pharmaceuticals, FMCG, Banking and Cosmetics Industry.

She is a specialist on areas of Organizational Diagnosis, Human Capital Development, Coaching and Leadership Development. Mrs. Al-Hefnawi started as a Teaching Assistant in the Management of Information Systems Department in the Arab Academy for Science and Technology. Subsequently, she joined ProMark Ltd. as an HR Consultant Associate, where she implemented Organization Development Projects and Human Resources related assignments, such as Gap Analysis and Diagnostic Studies, Organization Structuring, Personnel Assessment and Training Needs Analysis.

She also wrote Articles in a DG Magazine, a social magazine.Mrs. Al-Hefnawi holds a Bachelor Degree in Management Information Systems from the Arab Academy for Science and Technology. She also holds MBA with a major in Human Resources Management from the Arab Academy for Science and Technology. She is also a certified life coach from Primeast Consulting in the UK.

Nasr-El-Din Osman



Osama El Saman


Mr. Osama El Saman, an accomplished top executive in Software and Information Technology Solutions, with more than 15 years experience in developing sales and marketing strategies, partner channel management and driving broad technology adoption in Government, Telco and Education sectors. He is experienced in new venture startups, managing ambiguity in emerging markets, and converting unrealized opportunities.
During Mr. El Saman journey, he held principal positions and played major roles with Schlumberger, SIEMENS Canada, and ITWorx EMEA. He recruited and directed functional managers in commercial areas of business development, sales and marketing, engagement, support, and partner channels. Additionally, he managed strategic business expansion to new geographic territories in the Middle East and Africa.
Mr. El Saman is currently pursuing post graduate studies in Positive Organization Development and Change Management at the renowned Case Western Reserve University. His research spans the fields of Experiential learning, Appreciative Inquiry, Emotional and Social intelligence, Positive Leadership ,and Sustainability with particular emphasis on social impact and societal development in the Middle East and Africa. He concurrently continues to work on major Organization Development projects in those regions.

Omar Shenety


Mr. Omar El-Shenety is a management consultant; in addition he has been working as an Operations Director & Project Manager in SKOPOS Consulting.

Mr. Shenety led several large initiatives inside SKOPOS Consulting in the past period including working on formulating the company's organization development methodology, operations excellence and business development expansion.Before SKOPOS Consulting, Mr. Shenety worked as a Director in the Business Consulting BU in LOGIC Consulting Group. He led several large assignments in Egypt as well as the Gulf. Besides, he led the R&D team in LOGIC responsible for formulating LOGIC's consulting methodology.Before LOGIC, Mr. Shenety worked as a Management Consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton, which is one of the top four consulting firms worldwide and the top firm in the Middle East in terms of market share. He provided consultancy mainly to the telecommunications sector as well as public policy formulation in various leading regional countries, such as UAE, KSA and Egypt.He's work combines both strategy formulation as well as project implementation.

Mr. Shenety has worked with various clients in a short period, where he led several client teams on projects implementation. Before working with Booz Allen Hamilton, he worked with IT Ventures as an Investment Analyst following up on several major telecommunications companies including ISP’s, e-learning and audio-text companies. Prior to that, he worked with Henkel as a Financial Analyst, mainly responsible for restructuring the Financial Analysis Department. The restructuring program was initiated and conceptualized by him.

The program was recognized by Düsseldorf Head Office.Moreover, Mr. Shenety worked as a free lancer consultant for two years providing advice for various SME’s on the strategy and financial fronts, and has helped several companies to turnaround and to improve their sales and profitability.Mr. Shenety holds a Bachelor degree in Economics from the American University in Cairo with a minor in Business Administration (Finance Concentration). He achieved an overall GPA of 4.0, President Cup holder and Highest Honors. Besides, he led various student organizations on campus including Student Congress and Charity Organizations.

Mrs. Shahrzad Saderi works as a Middle East management consultant bringing over 20 years of organizational development in public and private sector to SKOPOS Consulting. Her work has a special focus on inter-organizational relationships, cross cultural management development, participatory strategic planning and diversity initiatives.

Prior to joining SKOPOS Consulting, Mrs. Saderi managed a US base cross-cultural consulting company and expanded to the Middle East. Working with multinationals and local private companies, she introduced and facilitated participatory strategic planning in hierarchal business cultures. She developed practical applications for organizational design and change interventions with the primary focus of trust and control.
As the Diversity training program manager and trainer, of the largest state tax agency in the United States, she designed, trained the trainers and delivered training to 5 thousand employees. Working with the consortium of facilitators in California, she has designed and co-facilitated numerous statewide meetings to collaborate on training practices.
Blending Eastern wisdom with Western education, Mrs. Saderi has presented hundreds of workshops in US and abroad. She’s been a key note speaker at Great Decision Lecture Series at Whitworth University, WA, the International Public Relations conference in Iran and Society of Organizational Learning 2008 Global Conference at Muscat, Oman.
Mrs. Saderi has worked with clients such as: Zain Telecom, StatoilHydro Iran, Shell Oil, Xerox, Renault Pars, Pars On Line, Seagull, Butane Group, Saziba, Solar cooker International, United Way, Intel, Smud, and Waldorf schools.
She holds a Masters degree in Economics from University of Missouri, Columbia, and a BS degree in Business Administration from Sacramento State University, CA. She is certified facilitator from the following institutes: Institute of Cultural Affairs, International Association of Facilitators, Franklin Covey Corporation, National Consulting and Training Institute. She is the communication chair for the Organizational Development network and a member of SIETAR, and the American Society for Training and Development.
